As per the data
provided by Geostat (National Statistics Office of Georgia), Georgia's Ferrous
Scrap export to Turkey declined by 67.8 percent during Jan-Apr 2012.
Georgia
Ferrous Scrap exports amounted to 39,377 MT in the first four months of this
Year, decreasing by 67.8% from the same period in the Year 2011.
Further, revenue from
the exports also came down by 67.3 percent Y-o-Y during the first four months
and amounted to US$ 14.5 million. The average export price was US$ 368/MT to
Turkey during the period.
