India imported about 420,000 MT of ferrous scrap in Sept’15. Kandla and Mundra port remained amongst top five scrap importing ports in India.
Kandla ports recorded imports of about 21,500 MT with a bulk shipment of 18,000 MT from US. While, Mundra port recorded imports of about 19,200 MT scrap in Sept’15.
