Ferroglobe shuts down furnaces in Spain due to high energy costs

Ferroglobe, a major ferro alloys producer based in Spain, has idled one of its furnaces at the Sabon facility, a second furnace at the Boo facility, and aims to reduce production at the Monzon facility by 25% through modulation, as per reports. The company has taken this step in order to combat the impact of rising energy prices in Spain.
