Ferro Silicon prices steadied on an adequate supply along with reasonable offers from end-user.
SteelMint assessed ferro silicon (70-75) is being traded in the range of INR 58,000/MT (Ex-Bhutan). Producers reported of moderate demand in the market on top of sufficient supply of the material.
In the exports markets Bhutanese producers are offering ferro silicon at around USD 900/MT FoB Kolkata.
Indian Ferro Silicon Prices Keeps Firm
In line with steady prices in Bhutan, ferro silicon producers in India also kept their prices firm.
SteelMint assessed ferro silicon (grade 70-75) in being traded at INR 56,000/MT (Ex-Guwahati).
Indian producers reported that prices have kept steady because demand for ferro silicon in the domestic market is stable and there is good supply of the material in the market. A Meghalaya based producer said “I expect the price of Ferro Silicon to remain steady in this month, as there is good demand in the market.”
