Ferrexpo pellet production up 5% q-o-q in Q2 CY’21

Ferrexpo plc has recorded pellet production at 2.85 mn t in Q2 CY’21, up by 5% q-o-q reflecting the successful completion of pelletiser upgrade work during the prior period.

• The company’s pellet production for Fe 65-67% (high-quality pellets) represented the total pellet output in Q2 2021. As per the company’s report, Ferrexpo’s operations and logistics also recorded 85,000 t of additional high-grade concentrate for sale in Q2 CY’21.
• The company is ranked as the world’s 3rd largest exporter of pellets to the global steel industry.
