In an interview to a private news channel, SAIL chairman Mr CS Verma highlighted that Indian steel demand to grow on government's plan to spend on infrastructural growth, which will ultimately increase steel demand.
Iron Ore Pricing NMDC: He mentioned that iron ore prices are determined on several factors like demand/supply, global iron ore prices.He said market forces will decide iron ore prices. Although market experts see NMDC raising January iron ore prices amid rising spot iron ore prices in China.
Steel Prices: Mr Verma indicated that steel prices have started moving up in global market and there are signs of Indian steel prices moving up.
