The European benchmark ferro chrome price for the fourth quarter of calendar year 2021 has been settled at 180 cents/lb., up 24 cents, q-o-q, Merafe Resources announced. These prices are expected to support ferro chrome prices further after the shrinkage in Chinese supplies and a significant increase in freight costs due to container availability issues, SteelMint learnt from sources.
