Merafe, a major South African producer of ferro chrome, has announced that the European benchmark ferro chrome price for Q2CY’22 will be 216 cents/lb., a significant hike of 20% from the previous quarter. Surge in chrome ore prices due to supply disruption has boosted the European benchmark price.
