Europe: Outokumpu hikes stainless steel surcharges for Nov’24

Outokumpu, a European stainless steelmaker, has released its surcharges for flat alloy products for Nov’24 deliveries, which show a hike in stainless steel prices. Post-revision, prices are:

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $2,309/t, up by $103/t from October.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $3,817/t, up by $127/t m-o-m.
• 430 (EN 1.4016): $1,101/t, up by $15/t m-o-m.

The company’s annual melt production capacity is 2.55 mnt. Cold-rolled/hot-rolled strip production is 1.6 mnt/year.
