Europe: Outokumpu announces stainless steel alloy surcharges for Apr’23

Finish stainless steelmaker, Outokumpu, has decreased surcharges for stainless steel flat alloy products for Apr’23, except for 430 series. Prices are:

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $2,811/t, down $324/t from Mar.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $5,358/t, down $552/t m-o-m.
• 430 (En 1.4016): $1,109/t, up $29/t m-o-m.

Outokumpu’s total production capacity is around 2.8 mnt of cold rolled stainless steel and around 500,000 t of hot rolled stainless steel.
