Europe: Outokumpu announces stainless steel surcharges for Oct’24

Outokumpu, the European stainless steelmaker, has released its surcharges for flat alloy products for Oct’24 deliveries. Post-revision, prices are:

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $2,206/t, up by $8/t from September.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $3,690/t, up by $13/t m-o-m.
• 430 (EN 1.4016): $1,086/t, down by $8/t m-o-m.

The company’s annual melt production capacity is 2.55 mnt. Cold-rolled/hot-rolled strip production is 1.6 mnt/year.
