Europe: Outokumpu announces stainless steel alloy surcharges for Mar’23

Finish stainless steelmaker, Outokumpu, has increased surcharges for stainless steel flat alloy products for Mar’23, except 304 series. Prices are as follows:

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $3,135/t, down by $62/t from Feb’23.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $5,910/t, up by $473/t m-o-m.
• 430 (En 1.4016): $1,080/t, up by $17/t m-o-m.

Its total production capacity is around 2.8 million tonne of cold rolled stainless steel and around 0.5 million tonne of hot rolled stainless steel.
