Europe: ArcelorMittal negotiating hikes for CY’22 flat steel contracts

Europe’s largest steel producer, ArcelorMittal, has started negotiations with customers for closing its long term (Q1, H1 and annual) contracts for CY’22, with a substantial increase, as per reports available with SteelMint. The world’s second-largest steel producer has quoted Euro 1,080/t ($1,260) delivered for hot-rolled coil (HRC) and Euro 1,220/t ($1,423) delivered for hot dip galvanized (HDG) products.
