- European Steel major, ArcelorMittal acquired Polish scrap metal recycling business, Zlomex, and approvals are expected during the first half of 2023. Zlomex operates scrap yards in Krakow and Warsaw which last year processed and shipped almost 400,000 t of ferrous scrap.
- It is ArcelorMittal’s fourth metal recycling business acquisition, along with facilities from Germany-based ALBA International Recycling, UK-based John Lawrie Metals, and Netherlands-based Riwald Recycling.
