Essel Mining Raise Lump Prices by INR 200/MT, Other Miners Roll Over

Odisha based merchant iron ore miner-Essel Mining has today raised lump prices by INR 200/MT and kept fines prices unchanged. Other major miners continue to hold prices at same levels.

Towards the beginning of this month major miners namely Rungta Mines, KJS Ahluwalia and Kaypee Enterprises had raised iron ore prices. Lump prices had gone up by upto INR 200/MT and fines prices had improved by upto INR 100/MT.

Odisha merchant miners in conversation with SteelMint shared that market is dull. Lump are some how fetching buyers but fines booking has still not improved considerably. Market participants informed that domestic market is not witnessing stability over which decision for future price scenario is skeptical.

KN Ram iron ore prices remain unchanged- 5-18 mm (Fe 63%)-2,500/MT and fines (Fe 63%) – 1,500/MT (Prices in INR/MT are loaded to wagons & including Royalty and DMF)
