Essar Steel, one of the leading steel manufacturers of India has achieved 61% Y-o-Y increase in its flat steel production in Q3 FY17. The company has achieved highest ever quarterly quarterly flat steel production in Q3 FY17.
The steel maker’s flat steel production was recorded at 1.48 MnT in Q3 FY17 compared to 0.92 MnT in Q3 FY16.
On Q-o-Q basis, company’s flat products output has registered an increase of 10% in Q3 FY17 as the same was recorded at 1.34 MnT in Q2 FY17.
So far in this fiscal (till Dec’16), company’s flat products output amounted to 4.04 MnT.
The company’s liquid steel production has also registered a growth of 62% Y-o-Y basis as the same stood at 1.41 MnT in Q3 FY17 against 0.87 MnT in Q3 FY16.
