Steel grade pig iron prices in Durgapur rebounded on improved demand & absence of supplies from a private mill. Neo Metaliks, a merchant pig iron supplier has increased offers to INR 23,500/t EXW after concluding decent quantity deals at INR 23,300/t EXW. Buying interest was strong which was quite dull yesterday, officials stated. Also recently, a 25,000t pig iron export deal was concluded from Durgapur to China.
