CoalMint has heard that smaller cokeries in eastern part of India are offering BF-grade met coke at INR 44,000/t. However, the quality of the material remains unassured. Meanwhile, offers from big plants for 64% CSR grade coke are at INR 46,500-47,000/t. Despite a fall in coking coal prices recently, Indian coke producers are yet to lower their offers amid high production costs.
