A leading steel producer in East India has concluded a deal for 7,000 t of steel grade pig iron for central India. The deal price is at around INR 40,100/t exw-Odisha, equivalent to INR 41,200-41,300/t DAP Raipur and INR 40,800-40,900/t DAP Raigarh. Meanwhile, Durgapur-based producers have lowered offers for steel grade material by INR 1,300/t w-o-w to around INR 40,100-41,000/t exw.
