Domestic Iron ore lumps prices remain unchanged for last 3 weeks..*
63% fe 5-18mm ore was offered at Rs 6000-6200/MT on Ex- Mines basis.
Big miners like Essel and Rungta kept their prices unchanged as well and offered thier high grade ore at Rs 7950/MT (loaded to wagons).
Market feels that Iron Ore prices will neither fall nor rise in short to medium term. Prices are already high and supply is a constrain for miners in Orissa. It is unlikely that any significant change will be noticed soon in near future.
“We have done good booking last month, we are booked for next couple of months so it is unlikely that prices will fall sharply in near future” said a miners owner based in Orissa.
