The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), part of India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has proposed a $577/t anti-dumping duty on Chinese aluminium frames for solar panels. The findings highlight significant dumping margins and negative impacts on local industry, including reduced production and profitability. However, the finance ministry will take the final decision on this recommendation.
