Danieli has successfully completed the up-gradation of the downcoiler mandrel, originally designed by another manufacturer, installed at GJ Steel’s Rayong hot-strip mill in Thailand. The up-gradation of the equipment includes inspection of all components, new spare parts design and segment re-engineering, surface damage recovery, replacement of the original bearings with new brand ones etc.
