Czech Republic: Steel Exports Drop in Q3, 2019

Czech Republic, Ferrous scrap and Finish long steel exports plunged by around 12-13% Q-o-Q in Q3 CY’19, as per the custom data maintained with SteelMint.

Ferrous Scrap- On, Quarterly basis country’s ferrous scrap export is registered at 0.53 MnT in Q3 CY’19, down by 11.67% against 0.6 MnT in Q2 CY’19.

Whereas on monthly and yearly premises, the country’s export surged by 12.5% to 0.18 MnT in Sep’19 as compared to 0.16 MnT in Aug’19 and Sep’18.

Finish Long Steel- Czech Republic finish long steel exports registered at 0.4 MnT in Q3 CY’19, plunged by 13.04% against 0.46 MnT in Q2 CY’19.

On monthly basis, the country’s finish long steel export surged by 16.67% to 0.14 MnT in Sep’19 against 0.12 MnT in Aug’19. In line on yearly basis, exports down by 12.5% as compared to 0.16 MnT in Sep’18.

Unload Country wise- Germany remained the top importer of Czech republic finish long steel with 0.1 MnT in Q3 CY’19 (-16.67%) against 0.12 MnT in Q2 CY’19, followed by Slovakia and Poland 0.1 MnT & 0.07 MnT in Q3 CY’19, respectively, which remained stable against previous quarter.
