Crude steel production at Chinese mills drops again in early May – CISA data

The average daily steel output of China Iron and Steel Association (CISA)-affiliated enterprises was 2.16 mnt in the first 10 days of May’22, a y-o-y decrease of 5.68%. The average daily output of pig iron at mills stood at 2.03 mnt, a decrease of 0.47% m-o-m and 1.44% on the year.
