Automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in north India conducted CR busheling scrap auctions this week that received active response due to scrap availability issues. An auction for 400 t by a Haryana-based OEM yesterday saw buyers purchasing the entire quantity at INR 49,300/t exw. Around 300 t of scrap from Haryana- and Uttarakhand-based producers was purchased at INR 44,650-45,200/t exw.
