Columbia: Coal exports surge 41% in Nov’22

Columbia’s coal exports in November’22 rose by 41% m-o-m to 4.60 mnt as against 3.29 mnt in October’22. With sanctions on Russian coal, EU countries opted for more Colombian coal. The Netherlands stood the top importer at 0.71 mnt, an increase of 48% against last month. Poland stood second largest importer at 0.51 mnt followed by Turkey at 0.48 mnt. Spain’s imports recorded a multi-fold increase to 0.43 mnt.
