Coking coal prices are expected to come down in July.*
According to officials of Bhushan Steel, “Coking coal prices may fall, but because it’s a much tighter market (due to floods in Australia), it might not fall sharply. We expect Japan to import less coking coal for next two months this will lead to softening of prices”.
Currently, coking coal contract prices are around $330/MT and semi soft coking coal is at around $264/MT which surpasses all previous records.
