Metallurgical coal prices in Asian markets improve as buyers
in China looked to secure spot cargoes. Coking coal prices in the local Chinese
market also remain strong; making Australian and US material look more
attractive.
Premium Low Volume HCC was quoted higher at $163/MT FOB
Australia, at $179/MT CFR India on Panamax.
Traders in Indian market also expect an improvement in
offers now as India hopes to have better demand with the onset of New Year for
many local business communities.
