Export prices for coking coal from Australia remain stable
on the back of low steel demand and output also remaining subdued from blast furnaces.
Currently the market for Premium Low-volume stands at $148/MT (FOB Australia) and that of HCC 64 Mid-volume stands at $131.50/MT (FOB) which costs $162/MT and $145.50/MT respectively while reaching India.
Currently there are no fresh contracts, market is expected
to revive once the blast furnaces start operating at higher rates-said sources.
