China’s coking coal import dove down broadly again this month. Because of Chinese government’s huge efforts, import figures are continuously reducing. Import dropped by around 12% M-o-M and by 1.3 MnT Y-o-Y.
China, perceived as the biggest coking coal shipper internationally, is persistently controlling its import. The endeavors are obviously unmistakable in import figures. The import quantity diminished by around 0.4 MnT against previous month.
By latest data released by China’s Customs, the country had imported 2.9 MnT of coking coal in Feb’16, reporting a drop of around 12% on a month to month premise and 25% on yearly premise.

Following the trend, this month also Australia had exported highest quantity of coking coal to China. However, exported quantity decreased by about 17% in Feb’16 against previous month
