Coking coal imports in China during Jun’16 was at 5,814,854 MT, according to data released by China Customs.
The quantity is marginally more by 0.31% month-on-month.
The origin-wise break-up of the total imports shows that imports from Australia constituted the largest share, followed by Mongolia.

The same import pattern was also seen during the first six months of the current year. Coking coal imports in China during Jan-Jun’16 were up marginally by 0.27% in comparison with that in the corresponding period of 2015.
