RINL Completes Installation of PCI Technology
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited has completed installation of Pulverised Coal Injection (PCI) technology at its three blast furnaces as part of its modernization plan. The technology will enable reduction of coal consumption at each of the blast furnace by 150 KG per MT of the hot metal production.
Chinese Government Merges Top Coal Producer With Top Power Company
The Chinese government has approved merger of Shenhua Group Corporation, the largest coal miner in Chiana, with China Guodian Corporation,one of the largest power company; creating the world’s largest power company.
