CIS Pig iron prices unmoved for last one week as buyers prefer to observe markets and wait for further direction.
Though, some buying was seen at $405-410/MT FOB Black Sea port but it was in small quantities.
In the coming week, producers of the same might lift offers for March production looking at rise in spot iron ore costs by 20% in a month's time.
Ukrainian material was sold to Italy at $425-427/MT CIF in last week of December.
Last week, Russian Pig iron was sold at $5/MT more to $430/MT FOB Ustluga port.
Basic low manganese material was expensive was by $5/MT and stood at $425-435/MT FOB Baltic port in the previous week.
20,000 tons Pig iron cargo was sold by Donetsk Iron and Steel (DMZ) – a Ukrainian company at $396/MT to a broker and basic Pig iron at $396/MT-402/MT FOB Black Sea ports.
At profits, some quantity of December production by few sellers is being traded at Italian ports.
