Mikhailovsky GOK, a subsidiary of steel giant Metalloinvest, has produced 3 mn t of fine screen technology iron ore concentrate (Fe 67%) with Derrick equipment at its beneficiation plant for processing of low-SiO2 pellets. The metallics major is building a separate beneficiation facility for production of high-grade concentrates (Fe 68.8-70%) which is expected to come on stream by 2022.
