Out of total sales of 160.19 mn t in the Jan-Mar’20 quarter, Coal India Limited (CIL) had allotted 139.17 mn t as part of Fuel Supply Agreements (FSAs) while 21.02 mn t was earmarked for e-auctions, although realisations in the latter were higher. Sales during the period slumped over Rs 1,000 crore on year. Quarterly washed coal sales stood at 3.3 mn t.
