Coal India Ltd has carried out fourth tranche of auction under SHAKTI scheme for allocating coal linkages to power generators who do not possess power purchase agreements. Out of 5.97 mn t coal offered for sale, 0.64 mn t was booked by 7 successful bidders at notified price.
