Power producers in India should now brace up for participating in E-auction of coal as Coal India Limited (CIL) has announced the schedule for the next E-auction to be conducted this month.
CIL has fixed the third phase of the forward E-auction of coal for power producers in the country on 17,20,23 and 24 Aug’16. The first and second phases were conducted in Apr’16 and May’16 respectively.
The forward E-auctions have been actuated to provide uninterrupted fuel to the country’s power producers as the Government of India has planned to provide round-the-clock electricity.
