China exported 4.04 mn t of steel products in the month of Oct as against 3.83 mn t in the previous month, the data by General Administration of Customs, China shows. The China Iron and Steel Association anticipated steel exports to recover and imports to drop in the last quarter on an overseas market recovery and narrowing price spreads.
