Chinese steel exports fall 19.6% y-o-y during Jan-Sep’20

Chinese steel exports during the first nine months of CY’20 recorded a fall of 19.6% y-o-y over Jan-Sep’19, according to the recent data by General Administration of Customs, China. Steel exports during this period totaled 40.38 mn t, the GACC data shows. Higher realizations in the domestic market lowered exports.
