Chinese Met Coke Exports Up 40.32% in Oct’16 M-o-M

Met Coke exports from China in Oct’16 was at 870 ‘000MT against 620 ‘000MT in Sep’16, according to the data released by Chinese Customs.

The exports during Oct’16 were up by around 40.32% month-on-month; and also surpassed the exports during the corresponding month of the previous year, at 770 ‘000MT, by around 12.9%.

Exhibiting a similar trend, the exports during the Jan-Oct’16 period also were higher by around 12.6%, at 829 ‘000MT against 736 ‘000MT in the Jan-Oct’15 period.
