Chinese finished steel exports surge with recovering global economies

China’s steel export volumes jumped by 30% annually in the first two months of CY ’21 (Jan-Feb) at 10.14 mn t, as per data released by General Administration of Customs, China. During Jan-Feb ’20 the export volumes stood at 7.80 mn t. Improvement in overseas demand with the global economies recovering from the COVID pandemic pushed the export volumes.
