Chinese finished steel export up by 8% on global price hike

The Chinese steel producers exported 4.38 mn t steel in Nov ’20, 8% higher as compared with 4.04 mn t in Oct ’20, though was down by 4% on y-o-y basis. The fluctuations in the domestic market demand amid weather conditions coupled with improved demand in the global market and rising global offers made the mills to raise their exports volume in Nov ’20.
