Chinese ferro-alloys industry intends to cut output by 60%: Reports

As per reports, the Ferroalloy Industry Association held a virtual meeting on 22 July with 40 industry members to reach the following conclusions-

• Limit production by 60% as soon as possible
• Minimise the risks associated with ores that are costly by not purchasing them.
• The entire industry must prepare for 3 years of hardship and focus on improving cost structures.
