Chinese domestic billet prices witness a rise of RMB 10

Today, billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) opened with a rise of RMB 10, against last week’s closing. The steel market is in weak consolidation, and the price of finished steel is trending downward. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,430/t ($502/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
