Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) witnessed a rise for the second consecutive day. The billet transactions were tepid. However, the bid-offer disparity was noted in the finished steel prices. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,410/t ($505/t) ex-Tangshan, including 13 % VAT, up by RMB 10 against yesterday.
