Today, billet prices in the Tangshan (northeast China) market, were noted to have increased by RMB 20, against yesterday. The price of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter was reported at RMB 3,420/t ($489/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
