Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) opened flat against last week’s closing. The billet transactions were weak and finished steel prices have seen in synergy with the billet prices. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter
were reported at RMB 3,620/t ($551/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
