Chinese coal imports fall 32% M-o-M in May

China’s coal imports fell nearly 32% month on month to 22.06 MnT in May’20, according to the country’s latest customs data, that was released yesterday. On a year-to-date basis, China imported 148.71 MnT of coal in the first five months of this year, up 16.8% from the corresponding period last year.
