Coal imports in China dipped by 2.5% in July’16 against that in Jun’16, the latest data released by China Customs shows.
In July’16, coal imports into that country were at 21.21 MnT, which is also lower by around 0.2% over the import quantity in July’15.
In contrast, coal imports into that country rose by 6.7% to 129.17 MnT during the Jan-July’16 period in comparison with that in the corresponding month of the last year.
The country has exported 4.91 MnT of coal and lignite during the Jan-July’16 period, recording a rise of 77.9% on a year-on-year basis.
