China’s unwrought aluminium exports fall by 4% m-o-m in July’24

China’s unwrought aluminium and aluminium products exports decreased by 3.77% from 610,000 t in Jun’24 to 587,000 t in Jul’24. Imports rose by 14% y-o-y from Jan-Jul’23 at 3.294 mnt to 3.758 mnt in Jan-Jul’24. However, there is an 8% increase in SHFE aluminium price from RMB 18,200/t ($ 2538/t) in Jul’23 to RMB 19,800/t ($ 2761/t) in Jul’24.
